Hi. I'm Cardiff Guitar Guy and I've played informally outside this restaurant for diners many times. First of all, I want to say how lovely the staff have always been towards me. My music has been responsible for bringing in more punters to the restaurant because it has the right kind of summery, Latin vibe. I've always had really good feedback from customers and I hope I helped them enjoy their meals. I've also ordered food at the restaurant as well several times and I think it's all delicious. I really like the penne arrabiatta and the lasagne is just phenomenal. So a great restaurant that encourages local musical talent and serves up a great plate of food. @cardiffguitarguy

We were full but ordered some food for kids and desert for us. Tiramisù here was the best I have ever tried. Not soggy, lots of cocoa and not too sweet cream. This is something I want to be back to Cardiff for. And obviously kids enjoyed their pasta and pizza

Came here off the cuff hadn't booked managed to squeeze us in at 5pm on a Saturday beautiful food and brill service highly recommend will definitely return

Giovanni’s on The Hayes is an absolute credit to itself. Absolutely wonderful and would highly recommend to anyone considering going to do so. Beautiful venue, the tables are laid very elegantly. All of the staff are beyond amazing, very attentive, friendly and charming. Food and drink service was lightning fast. We received a very warm welcome and goodbye from all of the staff. The food and cocktails were to die for. Couldn’t recommend more and my fiancee and I can’t wait to visit again :)

Popped in before going to a concert. Seated quite quickly which was good as we had no reservation. Young girl who served us was polite, courteous and had a smile on her face. We ordered drinks and I had something off menu which they were happy to do. Food arrived relatively quickly and was very tasty. Price wise, pretty much average for an Italian restaurant. Same as down south.
